LSH Architects

Redwood City Contemporary Architects

LSH Architects is a hands-on design studio that works closely with clients to develop highly customized spaces.  LSH Architects provides comprehensive architectural services to build custom new buildings, additions and renovations.

Formerly LSH Studio, this Bay Area architecture firm was founded in 2002 as a sole proprietorship by the architect Lori Hsu.  Lori’s extensive experience and interest designing high-end residences on the East Coast led her focus on custom residential projects when she settled down in California in 2002.  As projects increased in size and scope, the company incorporated in 2016 and became LSH Architects, Inc.

With over 20 years of experience designing contemporary high-end residences, extensive renovations, and sleek commercial improvements, our projects are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Massachusetts, and Washington.

Problem-solving skills paired with artistry provides the framework for beautifully crafted architecture.  LSH Architects designs are light-filled open spaces with inviting natural materials and clean details.

The material palette is developed to support the overall vision of the design and to suit individual preferences.  Finishes are selected for the interiors and exteriors, and detailed to showcase the beauty of natural materials.

With experience designing many specialty elements, as staircases, roof decks, custom doors, cabinetry, fireplaces, trellises, outdoor showers and spas, LSH Architects balances and integrates larger scale building design with finer details in focal elements that imbue spaces with character.

Harmonizing form with function, LSH Architects excels in creating technically proficient designs with sensitivity to aesthetics, materials, natural light and the environment.
